The Rajaji National Park is also known as Rajaji Tiger Reserve. It is a world-noted wildlife sanctuary located in Uttarakhand, India spans three districts – Haridwar, Dehradun, and Pauri Garhwal. The park was established in 1936, it is named after C. Rajagopalachari, the first Governor-General of independent India. It is popular for its rich biodiversity. The reserve is famous for its Royal Bengal tigers and other large animals like elephants, leopards, and black bears.
