One model of SSR is the SSR DD which is specially designed to control ACloads. It is a single-phase AC voltage control relay that uses a zero-crossing circuit to ensure that the load voltage does not switch on or switch off abruptly. The SSR DD supports load voltages up to 480 VAC and currents up to 25 A.
